A letter from my sister Wanda:
Last year my dad Norman Casper was diagnosed with 4th stage pancreatic cancer. Some days it’s still hard to believe we lost him to this dreadful disease. Norman was a very youthful, active, good looking man of God. He loved his church, and his family. He was an advocate of higher education and living life to its fullest. He enjoyed helping and encouraging people to live their best life. He was truly an inspiration and made a difference in the lives of so many people during his lifetime. He passed peacefully on Jan 6, 2011.
A few of the Caspers: Calvin, Toya, Val, Kaya, Norman, Tarek, Malik, Wanda and Mom Mom
Before his untimely passing, Norman was excited about the anticipation of working to help young men in The Camden Comprehensive Centers for Fathers (CCCF) Program. This organization falls under the Genesis Economic Self-Sufficiency Program. They provide guidance and support to young fathers in Camden County. They offer help with returning to fatherhood duties, applying for jobs (preparation and application process), achieving life skills, assisting with wardrobe, writing and interviewing skills. To continue our dad’s legacy of helping and inspiring, the Casper family and friends will give a scholarship once a year to this program. This will be used to assist in financing tuition for a young man.
Would you like to help continue Norman’s legacy of helping others to “Live on Purpose”?
Join our family in this effort in helping to make a difference, by purchasing a woven tapestry 2012 calendar* (see below). All proceeds will go to the Genesis Economic Self-Sufficiency Program.
Many thanks for all your support!
God Bless,
Wanda, on behalf of The Casper Family
