Jeggings, Sweater Dress, Knee High Boots, Wide Belt, Infinity Scarf

Infinity Scarf – Gift, Sweater Dress – Gift, Leggings – Gift
Boots – Philly Aids Thrift, Belt – Gift, Earrings – Clark Park Flea Market

I don’t look very happy in this picture but indeed I am. I’m wearing trompe l’oeil leggings I got as a Christmas gift from my family. I find the painted on holes and distressing quite amusing, and as most leggings are, they’re super comfortable. I paired the leggings with a whole bunch of other gifts, including a soft and warm infinity scarf, an awesome wide wardrobe-staple brown belt, and a sweater “dress” that’s really more of a shirt on me.

I’ll take credit for the boots and earrings, but otherwise this whole outfit is mostly my mom and sister’s doing! Love them, and especially love how they give me things like trompe l’oeil leggings as gifts. The absolute best part of these leggings is the waistband, which says “Paris Angel” surrounded in rhinestones. I’ll have to share a photo of that in the future.

Until then, have a great weekend!

UPDATE:

One thing I forgot to mention is that when I wore these leggings a friend asked if they were jeggings or Pajama Jeans. The reference to Pajama Jeans was pretty funny, and the fact that he knew what jeggings were was even better. I said no, though, because I’ve determined that jeggings must be made of denim. Otherwise they’re just leggings.

I immediately wrote off Pajama Jeans when I first saw them because they’re marketed as being jeans made of pajama material, or something like that, which I don’t want to wear outside. At the same time, I’m realizing that they’re just $40 leggings with a strong direct marketing campaign behind them. Can leggings be boot cut though? Another question for the ages.

Also, behold:

Had to take a quick shadowy iPhone pic. Enjoy!
